Edit all your block-theme (FSE) navigation menus on one fast screen, with per-language menus and automatic language switching.

== Description ==

Block themes store menus as "Navigation" posts that you normally edit inside the Site Editor, one menu at a time. QUICKMENU gives you one simple admin screen for all of them.

**Features**

* One list of all your Navigation menus, no Site Editor needed
* Edit label, URL and "open in new tab" for every item
* Reorder items and build sub-menus with simple buttons
* Add existing pages with a picker, add custom links, or bulk-add items (one `Label | URL` per line)
* Multilingual: give every menu a language, group translations together and create a new language version with one click
* Automatically shows the menu in the visitor's language on the front end (works with Polylang, WPML, or the site locale)
* Special blocks inside a menu (Page List, Home Link, social icons...) are kept untouched
* No tracking, no external requests

QUICKMENU works with any block theme. It does not replace the Navigation block, it only edits the menus the block uses.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the `quickmenu` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the zip via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Open **QuickMenu** in the admin sidebar.
4. Open a menu, set its language, and use the **+ XX** buttons to create translations.

Keep your templates pointing at your main-language menu. QUICKMENU swaps in the matching language menu when the page renders.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it work with classic (non-block) themes? =

No. QUICKMENU edits the Navigation menus used by block themes (Full Site Editing). Classic themes use Appearance > Menus.

= Which languages are supported? =

Any. Set your own list under QuickMenu > Settings, one per line in the format `code:Label`, for example `de:Deutsch`. Use the same codes as Polylang or WPML if you use them.

= Do I need a translation plugin? =

No. Without Polylang or WPML, the visitor's language is taken from the site locale. With one of them active, their current language is used.

= What happens when I translate a menu? =

Clicking **+ EN** (or another language) copies the current menu into a new menu for that language and links it to the same translation group. You then translate the labels.

= Can I turn off the automatic language switching? =

Yes, in QuickMenu > Settings.

= What happens if I delete the plugin? =

Its settings and language tags are removed. Your Navigation menus stay as they are.

= Is there an undo? =

Not yet. Make a backup before bulk changes. Earlier versions of a menu can be restored from the Site Editor.
