At the start of May 2025, I was given a possibility to produce a series of reels, as well as imagefilm and website video for Feinkost Mild. A Sandwich-bar in Graz with a tradition of over 65 years.

Obvious idea was to create a concept and develop a Directors Vision. I find that it definitely helped me develop the final vision of the project and schedule the shoot more optimally Following that we had a meeting to discuss the production process – How many people would be needed approximately and requirements regarding time and space.
Following the first meeting, I proceeded with creation of Shooting Plan (A Call Sheet – as one would call it on a typical feature film production). Here I included data like basics (Adress, project name, Potential issues, Scenes and Shots).
Just as I was mid-writing, I got an update about schedule change and instead of 4-6 hours we´d have to finish the shoot in 2 hours. At Emporiant, I try always to highlight efficiency and speed in creating projects, mostly due to our own respect for time and understanding that productions like these tend to take much more time then sometimes expected, which might not be the desired outcome for a business owner.

That being said, Thomas was extremely helpful and made the whole production really great. Alongside having great sandwiches and a epic selection of beer, Feinkost Mild bears a sigil of tradition that is wowen into tables themself.
It was this stuff of urban legend that actually made me even consider it as a place to produce such a piece.
After discussion with Thomas, we both agreed on the Premium Content Package – This package includes 5 Reels, optimized for Social Media Platforms (Included with descriptions, tags and location tag), 1 Imagefilm to be used as Website Video, and 1 Video for Youtube to showcase the Bar, Sandwiches as well as Beer and guest-friendly atmosphere. And considering that I definitely overdid the “Prost” shots, the one that made it into the final shot was the second shot.
On this project I opted for my standard setup, shot on Lumix GH5 with a V LOG-L, rigged out into a medium-cinema rig. (I avoided using the mattebox, mostly due to using modern lenses where coating does the job fairly well.)
