Case Study
Music Video Case Study
This music video was a highly planned out project.
Shot inside only 6 hours, all in a single day, on the beautiful streets of Graz, Austria.
Final Master was done in REC 709 Ultra HD (4K) whereas data acquisition on set was performed at 4K and 6K Settings.
Shot on V-Log L it enabled us to have a higher dynamic range at the stage of color grading, and a built in LUT preview enabled us to dial in the lighting and contrast.
We used a set of Panasonics native lenses as well as a Sigma/Canon for Ultra wide shots.
The concept as well as story was written by Emporiant, as well as shooting schedule and production on set.

Music Video Production
This music video was developed as a highly planned, fast-paced production, designed to capture cinematic visuals while working within an extremely tight schedule.
The entire project was shot in just six hours on a single day, utilizing the beautiful urban environment of Graz as the natural backdrop. Careful planning, location scouting, and precise scheduling allowed the team to move quickly between locations while maintaining high production quality.
Production & Capture
The final master was delivered in REC.709 Ultra HD (4K), ensuring compatibility with modern streaming and distribution platforms.
During production, footage was captured in both 4K and 6K recording modes, providing additional flexibility in post-production for reframing, stabilization, and cropping while maintaining excellent image fidelity.
The project was shot in V-Log L, which significantly increased the available dynamic range. This allowed greater flexibility during color grading and ensured highlight and shadow details were preserved even in challenging lighting conditions.
To streamline the production workflow on set, a LUT preview was used directly in camera. This enabled the team to visualize the intended final look during filming and make accurate adjustments to lighting, contrast, and exposure in real time.
Camera & Lenses
The video was filmed using a combination of Panasonic native lenses along with a Sigma lens adapted for Canon mount.
This lens setup allowed the production team to achieve:
- Sharp, cinematic close and mid shots using Panasonic native glass.
- Ultra-wide perspectives with the Sigma lens for dynamic establishing shots.
- Greater flexibility in framing within the fast-moving urban environment.
The mix of lenses helped create visual variety while maintaining a consistent cinematic style throughout the video.

The concept, narrative structure, and visual story were developed entirely by Emporiant.
